Nice tool does the job no problem

I bought this to replace my old Makita DTM50Z Multi-tool, which finally stopped working after years of heavy use. The 51Z has a major improvement over the 50Z, which is the tool-less accessory clamp that secures any attachment you put on the machine. With the 50Z, if you put a saw blade on the machine you had to use a hex wrench to secure the blade. Unfortunately, when using the 50Z the vibration would make the saw blade work loose quite quickly, which was extremely annoying. The tool-less accessory clamp on the 51Z is a massive improvement. The only downside with the 51Z over the old 50Z is that the latter had a light that came on in use, whereas the 51Z no longer has a light, doubtless due to the new accessory clamp being in the way. In conclusion, I would definitely recommend the 51Z over the old 50Z - it’s a much better machine.

Macht was es soll und hält hoffentlich lange😅. Verwende die Akkus für all meine Geräte. Bei intensiver Dauernutzung hallte beide Akkus zusammen gute 1,5 Stunden durch. Die aufladezeit beträgt ca. 45 min. Gerne wieder👌

Se state cercando batterie originali e già avete speso soldi nel cercare di risparmiare ma senza esito positivo, siete nel posto giusto. Le ho acquistate e pagate il prezzo pieno che non è di certo conveniente, ma stavolta sono originali e hanno tutte le caratteristiche che devono avere senza i problemi tipici delle batterie farlocche. Per me sono da consigliare: Spendete di più, ma una volta sola

Again why didn't I buy this years ago I'll never know. Great tool but takes a bit of getting used to. Practice on some scrap material first.

Trust genuine Makita products. Don't take chances with scam-A be-y counterfeits. Some work a little but to get 100% return for your investment and guaranteed not to interfere with performance choose reliable manufacturer's parts. Thought I was a saving a bundle and had to toss cheap and dangerous knock-offs. They are hard to spot at first glance without deeper comparison. Extra effort was not worth my time or energy. Kick suspect counterfeits to the curb, stick with authentic products made by your tool of choice.

I own at least 12 Makita tools including a vacuum cleaner, lawn mower and weed whacker and hand tools.I will never go back to small engine gasoline tools or 2-cyl gasoline, or anything that needs to be plugged in.
